The 22-043 caliper was originally designed for use on chopper bikes, for example combined with an ISR wheel hub
(13-020).
This caliper has only got a 27 mm height of the swept disc area.
This means the disc can be made light. It also means that the brake disc
gets a clean "low profile" design.
